Quality management
We have implemented a far-reaching Integrated Management System which complies fully with the
provisions set out in DIN EN ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and DIN EN ISO 14001 (Environmental
Management). Initial certification was granted as early as 1993.
In addition, our unit dealing with products destined for the automobile industry is certified
in accordance with ISO/TS 16949.
SIMONA is synonymous with best-in-class quality. Our accomplishments within this area are
based on a strong customer-driven approach as well as a commitment to the continuous improvement of
products and processes.
Quality assurance
The quality of our products and services is measured on the basis of national and
international standards and guidelines, as well as being safeguarded by internal operating
standards and inspection schedules.
Each level and segment within our company is accountable for maintaining the highest quality
standards and fulfilling customer requirements at all times.
Certifications and quality audits
In addition to conducting comprehensive in-house inspections, we have concluded a number of
external agreements with independent certification and inspection bodies. These agreements are
centred around national and international regulations governing various sectors and aspects of our
business, e.g. civil and structural engineering, flammability, contact with foodstuffs and drinking
water, cleanroom technology as well as chemical tank and equipment engineering.
As part of this far-reaching programme, product quality and compliance are regularly
validated by independent auditors.
