We operate a comprehensive consulting service for all issues relating to the use of SIMONA
products. Our Applications Technology Department offers on-site expertise, as well as organising
customer training seminars at SIMONA's Plastics Academy and assisting with the implementation of
ATEX-related measures.
ATEX is the abbreviated name of the European Directive 94/9/EC concerning the placing on the market of explosion-proof electrical and mechanical equipment, components and protective systems.

ATEX Product RangeSIMONA offers a comprehensive range of materials from polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) to
polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). Special soot particles are added to the above-mentioned
materials, thus making them electrically conductive.
