Kirn, January 2012. SIMONA AG has extended the new product portfolio of SIMONA ^® Hollow Rods to include an extensive range of sizes and dimensions. The black colored hollow rods, which are extruded from PE 100, can be delivered in a length of 2,000 mm and external diameters of 110 to 810 mm. Special sizes are available on request.

On account of their geometry, SIMONA ^® Hollow Rods are the ideal material for manufacturing fittings and finished parts by means of CNC lathe machining. In comparison with solid rods, they offer significant savings with regard to material and costs. Hollow rods combine high chemical resistance with excellent processing properties, superior strength and high rigidity. Due to their UV-stabilisation, permanent outdoor use is possible.
