Wear-resistant pipes and fittings from SIMONA
When transporting media containing solids, for example for marine land reclamation (embankments), the interiors of the plastic piping are subjected to severe loads due to the high level of mechanical friction from the mixture of liquid and solids being transported.
In a series of tests conducted over a period of years, SIMONA developed a material that withstands the high abrasion on the pipe interior for twice as long as standard PE 100 pipes.
