Revenue and earnings up significantly in first nine months
Financial Press Releases Company
All three regions contributed to revenue growth in the first nine months. In EMEA, growth was driven by business in the area of infrastructure and industrial products, higher prices linked to raw material costs, and a favorable product mix. In the Americas, the industrial products business performed strongly; business relating to the aviation industry also remained on an upward trajectory. Asia-Pacific recorded the strongest growth, driven primarily by buoyant sales of products for equipping semiconductor factories in China and Taiwan.
The Industry business line benefited particularly from strong momentum in the semicon sector. Infrastructure recorded substantial growth despite a recent slowdown in market activity and delays in customers taking delivery of cable protection pipes. Advertising & Building and the businesses reported under “Others,” including Aquaculture, also performed well. Mobility was slightly down year on year, with growth in Aviation insufficient to compensate for the decline in demand in the automotive, boat, and commercial vehicle businesses.
SIMONA’s strong earnings performance was driven primarily by revenue growth, supported by pricing and product mix effects worldwide. In EMEA, the performance of Electroplast and Dutchclamp, the recent acquisitions in the field of cable protection, also made a positive contribution. Earnings remained under pressure from tighter margins in EMEA, sluggish pipe business in certain markets, and higher energy and logistics costs. Overall, order intake for the remaining months is healthy; at the same time, market conditions remain volatile.
“SIMONA performed very well in the first nine months of 2026. Our diversified business is proving its value: every region contributed to growth, and our industrial and semicon business is growing particularly strongly. At the same time, demand remains subdued in certain European markets, and we continue to face margin pressure.
Based on our performance to date, we are raising our full-year revenue guidance from €630–650 million to €640–660 million. We continue to expect an EBIT margin at the upper end of our 6–8% target range,” said Matthias Schönberg, CEO of SIMONA.
